Bedrest :(

Well I have officially been on bedrest for over a week now. This is how our bed rest story got started. I go to LDS maternal fetal medicine quite a bit to be honest I have had over 11 ultrasounds and feel very lucky and feel like we know our babies already. Well Dave has not had the opproutnity to go up to LDS maternal fetal with me so last Wednesday I had an appointment and we decided to go up there and get my NST (non stress test). We went up there and I got hooked up to the monitors while Dave followed Cole all over. The babies heartrates are perfect the only thing that was out of the blue was the amount of contractions I was having. I knew I had been having contractions because I have constantly felt them but I had no idea the extenet or the seriousness of them. After the Dr came in to check them out she told me I was contracting every minute to minute and half and that they needed to send me to labor and delivery next door. Next door I went, and hooked up all over again, after endearing many lovely tests and getting 2 iv's as well as getting my blood drawn and getting shots to help stop the contractions i was pretty much scared to death of delivering and still am! I asked the nurse what the worst possible outcome was and she told me delivery and it would be at IMC. I wanted to deliver at LDS and still do. But the best case scenario would be bed rest at home. This was something we knew was probably going to happen but i was in denial about it. At this point my mom came to the rescue to rescue Dave and get Cole out of the hospital scene the little room was a little to small for Cole and with limited toys. After getting steriod shots for the little girls they decided that they would let me go home but i was on the strictest bed rest possible without being confined to a hospital bed. So home we went and here i am still in my bed. The next day I was able to go back to the hospital to recieve another steriod shot just in case the babies decided they wanted to get here quicker than expected. Well we are thankful they are still in and they are still kicking and moving as much as they can in there. I have 3 appointments a week and have gone to 2 of them, believe it or not it is so nice to be able to get out of the house even though they are doctors appointments. We had a NST and ultrasound on Tuesday and I met with my doctor yesterday. Things are going better although I am still confined to my bed. The contractions are still there but not as close and the babies are now 3 pounds 3 ounces yay!!! The uncomfortableness is out of control, and my sleeping is very limited in the night. I love these babies but we need them to cook at least for a couple more weeks. I am so thankful for Dave and he has helped out so much with Cole and Cole has become qauite the daddy's boy. Also thank you so much to my family they have been able to help out with Cole and Cole is so lucky to have such close cousins to play with! Another doctor appt tomorrow !

9 Months and WALKING!

Yes Cole turned 9 months on the 5 of August and he was already walking. He is so big and so advanced for his age. He loves to walk everywhere. He literally started walking by himself somewhat at 8 1/2 months and by 9 months he had it perfecdted. He also decided since he could walk that he could crawl too. He has never been interested in crawling ever so noe he just crawls when something is on the ground or if he needs to get somewhere to stand up on something. He also has discovered his cheesy face and shows his cheesey face quite often. He makes car noises when he plays with cars and is absolutly amused with planes and helicopters (definatly taking after his grandpa on that one). He is such a big boy and we are O so thankful that he is walking! He knows how big he has to be for his little sisters and we love him for that. He is going to be the best big brother out there.

Del Mar 2009

Each year we go to California and hang out on the beach, go shopping and just spend time together. It is so much fun and I am so lucky to have such an amazing family. About a week prior to leaving to San Diego I had a Doctors appointment and they were quite concerned with the babies weight being so low. They told me that i needed to gain weight as well as the babies. I was talking to Dave on the way home and my doctor had advised that Dave needed to come home or the chance of bedrest was pretty high. Dave was home within a couple of days. It was so nice to see Dave and Cole couldn't of been happier. Well we had already booked my ticket to Del Mar with my doctors permission months earlier because i would of had more help in California than at home by myself. So off to Del Mar Cole and I went.

Cole is such a good baby. Here he is in his stroller of couse with his feet up. He would not do it any other way. He always has to have his feet up on something especially when he is in the stroller.

Cole and I at Seal Beach. He loved California because we are right on the beach and everytime a plane would go by he would look up in the sky and wave and do his cheesy face.

Cole and Jazmin. You ask Cole where Jaz is and he will look all around to find her, and when he finds her he is so happy about it. She is SOOO good to him and Cole loves her more than anything.

My mom and jaz swimming with Cole. Tyson was able to get my mom in the pool by pushing her in. My mom is not much of a swimmer in the pool, she loves to get her tan on. Can you believe she is a grandma? I LOVE MY MOM AND FAMILY!

Cole liked the taste of the salty water so once again his hands are in his mouth ewwww

So big with grandma...loved the beach.

splash splash splash

cutest little boy ever....we decided against his swim trunks because of the sandy mess we encountered even in the diaper.

Chel and COle. All my sisters help out with cole so much so half of the time when we go somewhere no one can figure out who he belongs to especially since I am pregnant!

At every resturant Cole has to sit sideways in the highchair because he is always involved in everyone elses conversation. I always tell Cole to join our table but he seems to enjoy the attention of everyone else and likes looking at everyone!

Rest of July...

Things have been so busy for us lately! But here are the rest of the pictures from July. We went to the 24th of july parade with my family and Cole loved it! He loves hearing all the noise that comes with it and waves to everyone in the parade.

Here he is waving!

Chelsea has decided that Cole would be such a cute little girl too. I take it as a compliment because any boy that is cute enough to be a girl must be dang cute. So here is our stud with chelsea's hat on cheesing it up. He is very good at being cheesy and smiling.

And of course soooooooooooooooo handsome!
