Paisley 17 months

Paisley is my little baby. She would love to be the only child we always joke. She loves to have all the attention and she loves to be loved by her mommy. Paisley used to be our most high maintence child, but the torch goes back and forth between the twins. She still always would love to be held if she could, but due to the current situation and my 37 week belly it has made it alittle difficult.

Paisers loves to be read to. She brings books to me all day and honestly if time would allow it we would read books all day espeically about animals. She knows every animal sound and she loves to make the faces and sounds to each animal. She still teases Cole like her sister and even in the car because Cole's carseats are in between them, they both will do the same thing to annoy their brother. Whether it is putting their blankets or ba bas on him or kicking them with their feet they are quite good at this and it is hard not to laugh a little when they do this. Paisley still has to have me hold her to put her to sleep and before she goes down she winks both of her eyes at me very fast. It is to die for.

Paisley is our best little eater. She loves to eat and drink but especially eat. She will get done with her food and than she asks for more. She usually outeats the other two at the dinner table and doesn't rush to get down and play. She truly enjoys her food. She really likes candy and espeically chocolate, (she is definatly her mothers baby). Both of my girls love condiments and love to "dip dip". They love to dip everything and anything, their favorites to dip are sweet and sour sauce, ketchup, and ranch. They also both love salad. Paisley looks identical to my baby pictures and does a lot of things that I still do to this day. Paisley has really curly hair like I did when I was little and even when she drinks her bottle she plays with her curls. I still play with my hair but how funny that she started this at such a young age. She loves to dance and loves to get our attention but beind loud. She also is quite the tattle tell and will come and tell on her siblings when they are getting in trouble, even though 99 percent of the time she ends up joining in with them. Although she loves to dance and sing my little girl runs hilarious. Dave and I always laugh when she runs and we always joke that she may be our little un-cordinated one.

Paisley loves babies. She always wants to hold, feed, and cuddle her baby. This includes her dolls as well as any baby she can get in contact with. It is so sweet and we know that baby Cruz is going to be really really loved. Paisley has such a sweet heart and we love her more than she knows. I love my 3 soon to be 4 monkies!

Presley

Presley Danielle is the older one out of the twins by 11 minutes. At the end of this month my twinners will already be 17 months. I get asked all the time if my twins are identical. It makes me laugh because I always want to say have you looked at them? But their personalities are so different as well. Everything down to the way they talk and cry is so different. They have a LOT of similiarities but are so unique in their own way. Here are some of the millions of reasons why we love our Presley. Pres is our sensitive little girl and our trouble maker. She is such a sweetheart but we always have to have our eyes on her. Presley loves to be in charge but would do anything to hang out with her older brother. She loves to follow Cole around and if Cole is doing something you better believe that Presley will try to do it too. Presley continues to have us all fooled with her looks. When she was first born she looked like Dave to me, as the time has changed so has her look, I still think she looks like my sister Chelsea where my mom thinks that she looks like Dave. Either way she has the blue eyes that Dave and I don't have and lips to kill for. She is adorable and we love our Pres to peices.

Presley is a climber. She honestly can climb anywhere and the places she does get into is quite impressive. She loves to get into a place where she knows she shouldn't be and then simply call, "Mom". She has the sweetest little voice that you would never know is so mischeivous. When you ask her a question she will tell you yes or no and is not shy at all about saying no. She always knows exactly where her ba ba or sippy is. You can ask her at any time and she knows where she set it as well as where Paisley's is. Usually this is because Paisley does not finish her ba ba and Presley will do the honor of finsihing it off. She also will steal Cole's ba ba and take care of that too. Honestly when I say my kids love to drink this is NO exaggeration. When she does steal Paisley's ba ba she usually is very sly about it and will go into my closet or into a closet or corner and finish it off. When Pres is quiet you know she is enjoying her beverage. While she is drinking her drink though she usually loves to have something to rub on her face whether this be my "pajamas" or a blanket she loves to have something to hold on to. She also is my lovey dovey child. You can ask for a kiss at any time and she will give you one. It is amazing because she does not like to be cuddled but Pais loves to be cuddled and does not hand out the kisses like Pres does.

Presley is such a girly girl and loves to carry around my shoes as well as headbands that she wears as bracelets. Her new thing is carrying around my big purses and filling them up with her "belongings". This may include some treats, a random train, and even some of my lip stuff. She loves chapstick and when she puts it on she automatically smacks her lips. Although she is such a girly girl she loves to play ball with her brother and her dad, she used to be very independent but as the time has grown she loves to always have someone playing by her. If she does not she will bring the toy to come and play with you.

Presley is our sweet little angel and we can not imagine any other way than to have our family the way it is. We are so blessed and we love this little girl more than anyone will ever know. When I got pregnant with twins I was severely concerned about having twin girls but it has been so much fun always having the best of friends and I am so happy they will always have each other to lean on. I can't imagine now having twins any other way, how boring it would be for me. I love Pres and am so thankful for the light that she brings into our house. She is a little trouble maker but our house would be so boring without her. We love you Pip and love your big teethy smile.

Cole

Cole is 27 months and is at such a fun age. I wanted to write down a few things about him that I don't want to forget.
Cole is our buddy. When I say "our" I really mean everyone's little buddy, but especially Dave and I. He is the sweetest little boy and is always concerned about everyone elses feelings or "feelers". Even when someone else takes a toy from Cole, for some reason our sweet little buddy says "sorry bout that", even though he did nothing wrong. Cole loves to play in the bubble bath and would stay in the bath all night if he could. He also loves to play bowling and we even have a "big bowling" and a "baby bowling".

Our Coley loves to have his picture taken, but I guess if I was as cute as him I would too!
Cole loves to play and plays all day long. He loves to have someone sit down and play but is quite independent so has no problem playing on his own for a bit. Cole still loves trains and every reference he makes usually is somehow related to trains. He carries his trains in different sacks whereever we go, even if it is to go get a Coke for mom in the car, we always have at least a sack full of geo tracks trains, or Thomas and a couple friends. When we are in the car and we go down a hill and turn a corner, Cole reminds me, "down the hill and round the bend", this is on the Thomas theme song. But even when we are inside the house and we go around a corner, we are actually going around a bend. One of the things that we do automatically is look for trains as soon as we get in the car, if it is Trax going on the track than it is either a "baby" train, "Chuggington" train, or a "white" train. If it is a union train than it is usually "train with lots of freight cars", "BIG" train, "yellow" train, or a "daddy train". We love trains at our house and even his little sisters love to play trains with Cole and know all the songs as well as what a train does. (I think we all know a little too much about trains at the Carroll house).

If you are familiar with my blog you probably already know how smart my little man is. Cole has been very advanced from about the time he walked at 8 1/2 months. To this day Cole loves to read books and learn about everything. He talks amazingly and repeats everything that we say. This kid has Dave and I in laughter about 90% of the time. He knows all of his ABC's and 123's and even can tell you what the numbers and letters are when they are written down. He writes his name all by himself (even though the e is a little backwards, it is amazing). And he knows all of his shapes, and even the not so basic shapes like a semi-circle, octagon, hexagon, and diamond. During a recent house hunting adventure we were downstairs in a house and in the playroom they had a window cutout. Cole said, "Mom, look an octagon!" Everyone there started laughing and even than I don't know how he is able to point things out like that. He really likes octagons for some reason and can find them lots of places. Cole knows every color and loves to point to colors as we drive even if it "red means stop" "green means go". Cole also loves to tell me stories and sometimes if I ask questions he will simply tell me, "i don't wanna talk about it." His latest thing is to ask Dave and I what we are doing all the time. When we answer Cole he always responds with a sweet little, "O, okay."

Cole is such a good little boy but has always had a really hard time sleeping thru the night. Still to this day we struggle, and we have NEVER had Cole sleep thru the night since he was born. But he has gotten quite used to the fact that he sleeps with Dave and I and now calls our bed, "mommy's and Cole's bed". Apparently he forgot Daddy sleeps with us too. At night we get him to bed in his room and sometimes he will come in within 15-20 minutes of going to bed. Dave will usually go and pick him back up and within a matter of seconds Cole has an excuse of why he needed to come in here. His latest excuses have been, "I need my nice pillow", "i need to go pee-pee in the potty", " I need to brush my teeth." Like I said, extremely smart since these are all things that we are working on and he knows mom is "really proud" when he does these things.

Some of the final things that I don't want to forget are how sweet he is to the little girls, even though when one of the girls or both are in trouble, he loves to reitterate the fact that the "girls are in trouble". He also loves to drive by the temple and if we are far away from the temple he usually tells us, "we need to find a way". Loves to say prayers, and loves to call Dave and I "honey" as well as "Dabe" and "Danielle". When Cole does get hurt which is very rare because he is so tough he will cry and come and get me to than he automatically will say "so sorry about that". At first I started laughing because everytime he gets hurt I tell him how sorry I am about that, and so sorry that he got hurt. Cole also loves anything that has to do with Mickey and his newest obession Nemo's. Yes, Nemo's with an s. There is a Big Nemo and a Baby Nemo.

We are so in love with our little boy and we can't wait to have another little boy. Cole is so excited to meet baby Cruz and thinks that Cruz is also in his stomach. Tonight he told me that he wanted Cruz out of my belly button and that Cruz is going to bring him a present. Our kids love to drink. Cole started this and loves to have his ba-ba (sippy) whereever we go as well as a refill container. Cole loves to constantly have his sippy with him and is never dehydrated. We love Cole and we could not be more thankful to have this little boy as our oldest. Cole we love you!8

Christmas 2010

Better late than never! We had such a great Christmas and of course our kids were spoiled like crazy. Cole got a train from my parents and it has seemed to keep all 3 of our kids very busy, and the girls love their jogging strollers and babies from my parents as well. They loved to unopen presents and thought that every present that was wrapped they should unwrap. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and it was so much fun with our 3 kids this year. I love the spirit of Christmas and everything that surrounds it. We are so blessed with our kids and each other and could not ask for anything more.
